DEIVERSE: Origins Issue 1 (BFA)

For my bachelor's of fine arts degree at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I created a demo for an issue 1 comic book for my story called DEIVERSE: Origins. The comic was an idea formed back in high school, completely reworked for my senior year thesis. I created a comic cover, multiple pages, a logo, a backing and rules for myself to create it. I was supervised by my committee: Miguel Hernandez, Kelsey Cretcher, Bill Appledorn, Suzie Mcginness, Alyssa Perry, and Pam Spremuli.

Deiverse: Origins is a comic book series with a focus on action, familial relations and the telling of a new mythology.
It follows Yjrd and his pantheon on their journey to bringing balance to a world that’s split by order and compassion.

My target audience is the 15-25 age range, consisting of fantasy comic readers, mythological media enjoyers, and fans of hero-based action.

My story is also meant to appeal to different familial dynamics, including sibling tropes, parental situations, and relationships between them.
